For founders

You're building it. Someone should be watching the money with you.

A Finance Director from the start — not once you can afford one. Every Monday your numbers are ready, walks you through the week, and models the next commitment before you make it.

Where founders actually are

The decisions are already big. The finance function isn't there yet.

You're deciding from a bank balance, because that's the number you can see. The plan lives in your head and a deck you last opened three months ago. There's no one to pressure-test the big call before you make it — your accountant sees the year after it happened, and your co-founder is as close to it as you are.

None of that is a failing. It's the stage. It just means Sunday night carries more uncertainty than it needs to, and Monday starts without a plan.

Happy Monday

A standing meeting with your Finance Director. Thirty minutes, and the week has a plan.

Preparation happens before you arrive: the numbers reconciled, the variances found, the questions worth your time already written. You talk it through — out loud if you'd rather — and leave with decisions, owners and dates.

Across a week

Friday the numbers are read. Monday you decide. Through the week nothing goes unwatched.

Friday

The week gets read

Cash movements, what slipped, what landed. Anything that changed the picture goes on Monday's agenda.

Monday

Happy Monday

Thirty minutes. The numbers, the choices, the commitments — and the register of what you decided.

Tue–Thu

No surprises

A renewal approaching, an invoice gone quiet, a deadline nearing. Raised while you can still act.

On the roadmap — not built yet, not included, not priced

Two things we're working on next.

  • Your plan as a living document. Upload the plan or the deck once, and have the targets in it tracked against what actually happens — with divergence raised in the meeting.
  • Investor relations. A simple record of who you're talking to, where each conversation sits, and the update that goes out next.

Neither exists today. We'll tell you when they ship — don't buy for them.

What's included

All of it. There's no smaller version for founders.

Happy Monday

The weekly meeting. Numbers prepared before you arrive, an agenda, and decisions captured on the way out.

Can I commit

Model the hire, the contract, the price change before you sign — base, growth and downside side by side.

No surprises

What needs acting on today, what to decide this week, what to keep watching. Grouped so you can act, not scroll.

Every call you made, the reasoning at the time, the review date — and what actually happened.

Command Centre

Cash, runway and burn, always current. The first thing to check in the morning.

Document Hub

Forward the letter you don't want to open. Read, explained in plain English, reply drafted for your review.

Aged debt read, chasers drafted in the right register, sent only when you approve.

Contracts

Renewal dates, notice windows and escalators extracted and diarised — nudged before an auto-renewal, not after.

Filings and deadlines

VAT, Corporation Tax and Confirmation Statements prepared against your live numbers. You stay the filer of record.

A 100-point score across six weighted dimensions, with a written SWOT you can act on.

Where the lines are

What it does, and what it won't pretend to do.

Numbers come in as CSV or PDF. You bring an export, your Finance Director reads the columns, tells you exactly what was understood, and writes only what you confirm. Live accounting sync is on the roadmap, not in the product.

Nothing leaves without your approval. Chasers, replies, filings — all drafted, all waiting on you. You stay the filer of record.

It's judgement, not regulated advice. Where something needs a qualified specialist, you're told, instead of a guess.

Questions

The things founders ask first.

I'm pre-revenue. Is there enough for this to work?

Yes. It starts with what you have — a spreadsheet, a bank export, your Companies House record. Happy Monday runs on cash in, cash out and commitments, which exist from the first month of trading.

Does it connect to my accounting software?

Not yet. Today you bring numbers in as CSV or PDF and your Finance Director reads the columns, tells you what was understood, and only writes what you confirm. Live sync is on the roadmap.

Is this financial advice?

No. It's the judgement of a Finance Director applied to your own numbers — the kind of conversation you'd have with a good FD before a decision. It isn't regulated financial advice, and complex matters get referred to qualified specialists.

Will anything be sent to a customer or HMRC without me?

No. Everything that leaves your business — a chaser, a filing, a reply to a letter — is drafted for you and waits for your approval.

What does it cost?

£99 a month on the Founder rate, held for as long as you stay subscribed, with a 14-day free trial. Direct Debit set up at signup, nothing taken during the trial, cancel any time inside it.

How is the Founder rate different from the SME plans?

It isn't a smaller product. It's the same platform at an early rate while the Founder places last.
